The Children’s Alliance of
New Hampshire is excited to announce the Children’s Alliance Awards.
These awards will honor exemplary child advocates from across the state
and call attention to opportunities to raise a more-powerful voice for
children.
Do you know an exemplary child advocate? Someone who has raised his
or her voice to make children a priority? Please consider submitting
a nomination in one of the following categories.
Award winners and their work will be celebrated at the first annual
Children’s Alliance Awards event April 12,
2005 at
the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord.
Award categories
Healthy Children
Given to a professional, local or state official, community leader or
other New Hampshire citizen who has raised her or his voice for policies
and programs that promote children’s physical and emotional health,
prevent child abuse, and improve the well being of children and families.
Strong Families
Given to a parent, caregiver (including grandparents and foster parents),
local or state official, community leader or other New Hampshire citizen
who has raised his or her voice for policies and programs that strengthen
families, promote safe communities, or increase economic opportunities
for children and families.
Educational Opportunities
Given to an educator, local or state official, community leader or other
New Hampshire citizen who has raised her or his voice for investments
in quality, equal educational opportunities for all children.
Youth Advocate
Given to a young person (21 years old or younger) who has demonstrated
exemplary courage, creativity, leadership and commitment in raising
his or her voice on behalf of children and families.
