The Children's Alliance of New Hampshire, a state wide advocacy organization working to improve the health and well-being of the children of New Hampshire, is seeking a Research Associate to manage our research and public education activities. This position reports to the President.

Responsibilities: The Research Associate is responsible for planning and managing all research and related activities. Specific responsibilities include:

• Maintain relations with existing data partners and build new relationships with potential partners.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all contracted data work.
• Plan, coordinate and manage the publication of all research reports, including Kids Count products and topical issue briefs.
• Plan, coordinate and manage the presentation of all data and research products to meet the needs of a variety of audiences including community leaders, state and local policymakers, media, and advocacy partners.
• Respond to requests for information on a broad range of issues related to children's health, education, safety, and economic security.
• Plan and create research briefs on a broad range of issues related to children's health, education, safety, and economic security.
• Develop mechanisms to track outreach methods and messages and evaluate effectiveness.
• Communicate with and participate in conferences of key partner organizations.
• Coordinate and manage all foundation reporting and grant requests for research activities.
• Special tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:The qualified candidate must have at least a college degree, experience assisting social policy research, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organization and time management skills, and ability to work in team environment. Advanced degree preferred.
