NH Child Advocacy Network members brainstormed about possibilities for the 2011 Priorities for NH's Children. Participants also enjoyed a Celebration honoring those who led in the legislative process and bid a fond farewell to Iris Estabrook.

The next step to this process is to be a part of the fall work groups.

The Children's Alliance is a  part of the New England Consortium, a six-state collaborative of child research and policy organizations, that has come together to develop a common set of priorities to reduce poverty in our individual states and region, and act as a catalyst for national change at this time of increasing poverty.

The Consortium’s mission is to reduce poverty and provide opportunities for New England children and families, through research and advocacy on a set of strategic state and federal policy priorities, with effective implementation across the region.

Erika Argersinger, Children's Alliance's Public Policy Director, will play a critical role with this Consortium.
